Int increases SP, the more sp u have the more dmg it does. Str also increases dmg of asura...so both makes asura stronger than it already is.

I had some other question about Asura. Is it worth maxing it ? Right now I do only a horrible 4k damage with it(c'mon throw spirit spheres does 3k!!). Now I'm afraid spending any more points since I fear I wasted lots even by getting it. Perhaps I just need a better weapon ? I'm currently using a simple stunner

STR affects throw spirit sphere and STR also affects asura more than SP amount

With 14str even Porings will be laughing at you. Your "punches" will be no more harmful than a friendly poke at their jellatinous sides.

Mockery aside, str is far more important to Asura than int. My Monk currently has 62+19 str (when I Asura anyway, mighty staff) and 40-something int, and I once killed a Priest with a 1sp Asura. The damage was close to 8k, much more than I (or the Priest ) expected. Now I didn't get to try my Asura on him at full sp so I can't completely accurately compare, but based on his gears it would've done around the 11k mark with full sp.
