Alice and Zherlthsh Cute Pet Info

After scouring the Internet and bugging the hell out of friends who could translate several Korean sites for me (I could handle all the Japanese ones myself), I’ve finally assembled what I believe is the most accurate information about Alice and Zherlthsh cute pets that can be found in English. Nonetheless, additions or corrections will be appreciated.

Despite the fact that no official RO guide books (even the Korean ones) include Alice or Zherlthsh cute pet information, Ragnarok Online is indeed programmed with data and sprite images for the pair. I must stress that outside of private servers, the option of having these two cute pets available is NOT activated. They are NOT found in any of the official RO servers. There are two believable, yet nonetheless rumored, reasons why this is so:

#1: Future implementation in a still unannounced patch upgrade.

#2: Rejected cute pets that will never be implemented, but were not removed from the database and sprite tables due to laziness or potential coding errors.

My best suggestion – and hope – is that if enough people make the request to iRO, the GM’s will make a special consideration to make an exclusive or early implement them for their players. So if you want these cute pets as much as I do, make some noise about them. I am posting this information on more than one forum in an effort to increase the number of people becoming aware of the potential for these additions in the game, and making them possible reality - so please don't think of it as a spam.


Alice
The Alice pet tamer is ItemID#661 and most commonly called the Soft Apron (although I’ve seen Sky Apron as well). Her egg is EggID#9027 and in the Neutral class. She eats Pet Food like the ones bought from the Pet Merchants. She DOES NOT have any known (official) pet accessory or cute pet skill.

Being of the Neutral elemental category, the Alice cute pet egg appears as so:




I have been able to identify her pet animations as follows (there is some dispute however):

Cordial Trick




Loyal Trick


Technical Data: The following is technical data about the Alice cute pet that won’t make sense to most unless they have experience in reading RO data files. What it contains has already been mentioned in plain words above. Furthermore, individual servers can (and often do) alter this data string to their personal tastes. I merely include it for the sake of thoroughness and proof that I’m not “full of it” and for those who wish to do their own investigations on the matter. I’d like to add that several entries in the string seem erroneous compared to other cute pets despite being the default entries. I’d fully expect Gravity to alter them if Alice cute pets were to be implemented.

Zherlthsh

Q. We've heard of new pets, what we will have now?

A. We'll be adding Alice and Zealotus. Alice will need 'Fluffy Apron', and Zealotus will need 'Forbidden Red Candle'. We'll continue adding more pets.
