Hello I have a couple of questions about these skills and wondered are they even useful in PvP.
Snow Flake Draft- I haven't seen anyone use it but with its 60% chance of freezing someone it looks tempting to get. Mirror Image- I was planning on getting this it doesn't push you back but it might be useful against range classes... Haze Slasher- 200% damage combined with Shadow Slash makes it seem useful.... Throw Shuriken- With this at max level and Dagger Throwing Practice as well would it more damage than Throw Kunai? Are the throwing skills even useful in PvP? Anyways these are my thoughts thanks for answering in advance! =) |

Unfrozen armor is quite common

Decent cast time, but uber slow recovery, and considering the fact that Evil Druid and Marc armor are almost standard equipment, the only time this is even remotely good is if you are facing someone with Ghostring armor (the main other "must-have" in PvP... but if you have someone with Marc carded armor + that scroll that imbues the user with Ghost1 property for a few minutes, you're screwed). Situational, useful with the Shadow Slash - Killing Strike combo, but currently not very useful. With the Renewal update, however, Mirror Image becomes a must-have for any and all Killing Strike users because it amplifies KS by 3x. Compared to 110% at level 1, I myself use just level 1 in combination with Shadow Slash. Until they make this more useful (or deadly), it's a trap to go past 5. On a per-hit basis, no. Throw Kunai does (30 + 30) x 3 = 90 miss damage, while Throw Shuriken + Dagger Throwing Practice does 30 + 40 = 70 miss damage. Here are two clinchers however: With the cheapest Shuriken, that's 80 miss damage per hit, which is decent enough as it stands. Combine that, however, with the fact that Throw Shuriken is ASPD-based, and you can potentially out-dps Throw Kunai with at least 175 ASPD (Throw Shuriken is approximately 1.5x faster than normal attacks, so 175 ASPD normal = roughly 185 ASPD with shurikens). The only problem is, can your button-spamming handle it? ![]() If you spend for the most expensive Shuriken though, it's definitely a nice damage output per shot at 170 miss damage per hit. I'd rather use it for PvP purposes exclusively though, due to cost (considering each Kunai costs approx. 38-40z each, while the most expensive Shuriken costs 100z each...). Cast interruption, and does decent damage (especially in the Renewal update, where ATK gives as big a significant boost as %damage cards in damage output, if not bigger than).
